Sesquicentennial Of Kentucky-1792-1942, Bayless Hardin, Commonwealth Of Kentucky. Sheet measures 18" x 32", evenly tanned on front and verso from age and framing. Some waviness to the edges, will press out perfectly. Overall outstanding, beautiful color. Scarce.

A very sought after and collectable map by Bayless Hardin in 1942. Issued by the Commonwealth Of Kentucky to celebrate the Sesquicentennial of Kentucky's admittance into the Union. Illustrates the 9 counties that were established before admittance, and all present counties with dates. Birthplace of Abraham Lincoln is also noted, Henry Clay, and others.
